The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After leaving Penn State in 1962 and learning how to spell engineer, I was hired by the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS). I spent 2 years during my early government service on military leave serving in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. After completing my military obligation in early 1965, I returned to the USGS in Pennsylvania until late 1966. I spent the remainder of my career in the USGS Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and Reston, Virginia, retiring in mid 1999. My wife since 1967 and I now live in Radford, Virginia where we are busy supporting charities, serving the Methodist Church and spoiling our three grandchildren. Jani and I were blessed with three male children, two of whom live in Northern Virginia and the third in Tucson, Arizona. I send greetings and well wishes to all my fellow alumni. Although 7 hours away, I still look forward to visiting State College several times a year to support the Lions. Go State!
